Track is under construction, will be open late November of this year!

This special racing event is supported by Kyosho America, Werks Racing, Ronnie Setser's Customs & RC Pro Series.

Classes are as follows:

“Kyosho Inferno GT Stock”
“Kyosho Inferno GT Super Stock”
“Rally Game Open”
“8th Scale Nitro Open”
“200mm Nitro Sedan Open”
Complete rules for each class will be posted within the next 2 weeks.

This will be a charity event to benefit local area kids.

This race is intended to introduce SS Speedway’s R/C racing programs to the Tampa Bay community, it’s civic leaders and to promote our form of motorsports to the “mainstream’ population.

Here is our opportunity to show people what Kyosho’s Inferno GT is all about!

Too far, come on Bro.

For real?

I go down to Homestead to race my 1/8 scale On-Road from Tampa.

Thats cool, I just thought you might want to race your Inferno in an RC Pro Series Sanctioned race in front of a big crowd in the heart of the City of Tampa. Kyosho will have their eyes on this race too.

How many dudes race Inferno cars in the Miami area?
If you can help put together a group of racers down there, I'll try to Sanction a "GT" race down your way too. OK

Take it easy,

RC Pro Series is working with Kyosho America to sanction classes for the Inferno GT cars as "spec" classes.

The truth is that the hi-cost of "On-Road" racing is keeping a lot of people out of our sport. We at RC Pro Series want to see our sport grow, unlike some racers that could care less.

We expect to have 25 to 50 GT cars racing on the new SS Speedway track. All the conventional belt driven classes will be offered for the event, but our primary focus will be on the IGT classes.

The race is December 1-2, as it gets closer and you see how may IGT cars will be racing, I hope you and your friends consider attending as well.

Check out the rctech.net Florida racing section, 1/8 scale Track in Tampa thread for updates.

All the best,

Hey, I'm new to the Inferno GT. I wanted to get one by this week or next week. I was wondering what's the difference between the new one and the previous version because I wanted the 350z body which only comes with the older version. But, I wanted to know is it worth it to buy the old one and upgrade the parts to the new one or am I better buying the new one and then spending $100 to get the 350z body? Also, what's the upgrade on the newer version?

New clutch bell: GTW26

Bearings: BRG001 x 2 (Two BRG001's are needed)

Pinions: GTW26-15 and GTW26-19

about 30 bucks in parts.......its better to get the one u like the most and just upgrade those parts........or even better upgrade it with HPI parts!!!!

Thanks for the reply you guys. What's the top speed of the inferno GT? My RS4 w/ a diablo .15 motor and stock gearing tops about close to 60 MPH. I wanted to know if the inferno GT can beat that.

Another question, I screw up when I did my break-in. This is because the manual said to set it to 4 turns out from closed, and this is too cool but I follow it. After 2-3 tanks, I started to lean it out slowly by 1/8 but it was too slow, the car wouldn't respond properly. I got frustrated and set the low speed needle a couple of turns in and the car went nuts. It overheated so I turn it a turn or so out until it responded normally without overheating. Now, my car is real slow and doesn't respond properly to my commands. I got the high speed needle to get it up to 200+ degrees fahrenheit without overheating but the car is still sluggish. What should I do now to properly break the engine in.
