I started to fly mine w/ an OS .91. It flew and did your basic aerobatics. Would not hover!! Used alot, if not all the throttle most of the time! Endded up with a YS 1.10 and it did it all!!! Fantastic match! Hope this helps and sorry for your loss!

I wonder if I bump up the nitro to 30% if that would help get some more power out of the 91fx

30% is $50 a gallon!

I have an OS 120 AX in mine and it is a great combo.

After doing a little more research I think I will wait until I can find a OS120 or a YS110 I think I would get bored with the OS 91fx very quick. For now I will repair the old Kyosho Flip I have in the garage to hold me over for awhile.

It's a new one. No release date yet, but they do have a price......$299. The design is something new for H9 though. The graphics are actually printed on the covering, they aren't cut and put on top of the base now. Apparently they are doing a couple of planes this way now. The new funtana and a new mustang.

Thanks..
Anyone know what is different about this one over the 100x besides the aluminum landing gear and the airfoiled tail group?
Anyone know the firewall to hub distance?

They cant go wrong with this one. They have a done a good job and will sell 1000's ,no doubt about it.
The X100 was huge, this will be an affordable performer.

I thought they were commiting suicide, when they axed it.Who would do that to a best seller?
Looks like they are back in the game, hope they have a few other good surprises.
GP axed many planes,so did CG,I hope they are all active in bringing back some of the missed planes, and maybe some new cool stuff, like 2-3 years ago

Funtana 125

I received my Funtana 125 today, big improvment over the 100X. I was asking myself before why so expensive? Is it so much beter then the 100X. I think the answer is yes, this is a new and different aircraft but it keeps familiarity with the old one.
First thing i noticed (We all knew about the airfoild stab and aluminium landing gear) was the fuselage with difference, Its the same at the cowl area but alot wider at the rear of the canopy. The quality seams a lot higher. The landing gear area is beefed up with double plywood. The fuse is very light, I especially like the new canopy but think it should have a quick release ( I will have to make my one ). The wing profile is slight different from the X100. The wings will not exchange with the X100 because of different dimension and carbon wingtube. The cowl seam interchangable with the X100. The aluminium landing gear is 2.6 oz heavier then the X100 cf. Wheel pants for the 125 are more aerodynamic then the X100. I tink I like this one.

For the Funtana 125 the firewall to engine drive washer is 5 1/4 inches.

Very Happy about that transformation, The x100 was very good and as I can read the X125 is all about of what we expect . thanks for the comment

Note on the 2.6 oz heavier landing gear, it is heavier but the wheels are one oz lighter. Not so bad.

I have a CRRC PRO 26cc gasser and I was wondering if it would be a good match for the X100? Any thoughts?

I don't recommend that engine at all. I believe the engine to be heavy and the vibrations produced by it put a lot of stress to the frame. In high alpha situations you might experience severe wing rock.
I installed a DLE 30 on my X100 and had to remove it after 2 flights because of the reasons stated above plus the insane power of the dle 30 was unmanageable. My 2 cents.

Just received a well used X100. Will need some repairs and reworking, but the frame itself is solid. Needs to be recovered. The stab supports need to be redone. Ownt know how to do this until I get under the covering to see whats there. Any suggestions?

Does anyone have a new X100 cowl that you might want to sell? Would anyone know if the cowl for the Funtana 125 would fit on the X100?
