Cowl will fit so will the f90 cowl. I dont suppose you could tell me the engine mount position?

Engine sits at 90 degrees. Is this what you meant? If not, let me know.

I built my X100 about 5 years ago. It was hanging in my garage until 3 days ago. I can't believe i waited soooo long to fly this thing. Just awesome. CG is at 6 3/8" and it lands better than a trainer.

can anyone help source replacement landing gear for the x100?

I know the funtana 125 landing gear will fit, but H9 doesn't have stock till mid november.

Anyone know which gear from HobbyKing will work?

Thanks!

I don't know about Hobby King but I used the GraphTech landing gear and it has functioned
perfectly.

This may be an updated version than the one I have but I am sure it will fulfill
your needs.

NO REPLY...JUST DATA

I have a Futana X100 that I bought used as a fix-it plane. I am getting it back in shape. I have no manual and would like to get the CG point and where it is measured from.  Also I have noticed a lot of broken Funtana,s that seem to have broke in about the same area. I am using lite-ply (1/8 inch) in my last brace area. It will have a piece of 1/4 ply along the landing gear block too.  Below is a couple of phots of the template to get the lite ply piece made.   Capt,n

right from the manual: (you can download it from H9's website)

The recommended Center of Gravity (CG) location for the FuntanaX 100 is 6

3/8"–6 3/4" (162mm–171mm) behind the leading edge of the wing against the fuselage.

Note

: The CG can also be measured at the wing tip. This measurement is 3 1/8"–3 1/2" (79mm–89mm) behind the leading edge of the wing.

Well I got the repairs done a couple of days ago on my Funtana X100.  This eve I flew it for the first time.  It only needed about 1-2 clicks of up trim and it seems to fly nice. I do need to set the dual rates better.  May fly it tomorrow if weater permits.  Best Regards, Capt,n

UPDATE   I got the Funtana 100X together and made 2 flights.   Seems to fly good as ever. Did not need any trim from previous settings.  I hope I can get as many hours flying it as it took fixing the creature!!!!!!!!!!!!    Best Regards   Capt,n

Anyone need a Funtana X100 kit. It is all untouched except for the wings which have been hinged wing Hd pinned hinges. No interest in the plane any more.

How would this bird fly with a saito fa115 or fs110a. Have both engines laying around.

Hi guys. I know this post is old, I just want to add a little input to it. I have been a mechanic all my life, now retired. What it looks like here, is that the upper end of the rod has froze on the wrist pin ( lack of lubrication). Or possible a too lean mixture, also causing lack of lube. Those rods don't just 'break'. It is hard to tell from these few pictures, but I am sorry you lost the motor. I am a firm believer in being on the high side on lube content, as these little engines, do an amazing amount of work, and we ask a lot of them. I also want to say that four strokes do not get a lot of lube to the bottom end! I hope this helps someone. Happy trails, and blue sky to you.
