thanks RCU for finally bringing SPAD to this forum. now, to my question. does anyone have plans for the corofuse? i cant find the plastic pipe anywhere here in Fresno...yes i've checked lowes, home depot, 84 lumber, and several other smaller lumber yards...i finally found someone to order 2mm coroplast and have 6 4x6' sheets of the 4mm courtesy of the November election. bought a new torch since my oxy-acytelene might be a little overkill, now i'm ready to go...but need help with what plans to make with a corofuse and 4mm only for now...help plz?

Take a peek here

When making a Coro-fuse, it really helps if you have a piece of PVC to help with the folds. If PVC isn't available, cut yourself a piece of wood that approx 2-1/2" square. Then when you make the coro-fuse, just wrap it around the square, score and glue.

Hope this helps,

The Defender, the Devastator, the Corospit, Corostang and Spadstick all use 4 mm coroplast fuselages...this would be a great place to start when looking for ideas!

BTW, for mail order gutterpipe e-mail Dan Gipe at http://www.spadparts.com

Question for the admin: Is promoting guys like Dan considered advertising or Spam here? Dan sells gutterpipe to Spadders who can't find it in their area as a service, because he can get it easily where he lives and is willing to do it. He does charge a little extra for his troubles, but certinaly doesn't make a killing.

My second SPAD is a success! It looks good (to me anyway) and flies. This has an all coro fuse. After this one, I doubt I'll use PVC as a fuse.

I have #'s 3 & 4 on the table with 5 & 6 already laid out with enough plastic to build all winter long.

Ya gotta love this stuff,
