What are the basic design parameters of an airplane? What I am looking for is information like... "If the plane is 35 inches long from the spinner to the tail, the CG of the wing should be X inches back."

Id there any on-line resources like this, or here?

Thanks!

I think that if you'll take a look here , I think you'll find the information that will be most helpful to you.

Hope this is what you're looking for,

The CG is not as dimensional important as it is wing position. In other words, the CG of the entire airplane has to be at the same place on the wing weather the same wing is on a 30" fuselage or a 40" fuselage. That's one of the beauties of building a Spad. Build the whole airplane to flight ready condition, and then position the wing where it needs to be to get the proper CG ...and then drill for and add the wing dowels.
