Did you know that I had to cut and paste your user name? What a moniker!
Greek god of wine and ecstasy, I had to pick between my two favorite hobbies, I didn't choose an airplane name, next question!
Please explain to the masses (us) how you managed to modify the nose section and get the bottom to still fit right
Measure on the firewall as the plans say but just raise the horizontal line 1/4". That is all! Use the 4" spinner. The wood for the nose that is supplied with the kit is not thick enough, I think this alone has given us some of the ugliest TF p-51's. Plus people don't realize that when you build a scale kit you are sculpting it, not slapping parts together. The cowl will be slightly off, this can be fixed with sanding, build it up in the inside with CA and your favorite girls pantyhose! I'll post more as I progress, SSSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWLLLLYYYY!
