Works like a charm and you don't have to mess with removing the muffler to change/remove/install the engine. Also makes checking the tightness of the engine mount bolts a breeze.

I love this one too, except I have to trim the inside of the engine mounts sometimes. This mounting method is perfect for your engines that have the muffler held on by JB Weld because of too many lawn dart manuevers.

I love this idea. I'm upset with myself for not thinking of it. From now on this is going to happen on all my SPAD's.
Hey Tattoo, do you have any fuel feed problems when mounting the tank that high?

Not while the engine is running, however, you may run into fuel siphoning down into the ebgine when the engine is not running. So, I would suggest leaving the carb line disconected until your ready to start the engine!
