Status: offline 		I'd do it. My Magnums have been GREAT!! My 40 runs just as well as my OS 46 FX but the difference in size makes it less powerful. My Dad just bought a 46 for his Big Stik since we cant get his MDS 48 to stop quitting. Althought we havent run it, if its like any of the other Magnums I've helped people tune at the field, and run myself, its a good one. I've only seen two problems with Magnums though. Our first one (32XL) had some bearing play in it, although it ran GREAT. It was my first BB engine so I didnt know any better, but I found out after seeing some other BB engines. We sent it back, and the tech shop sent us a brand new model that most hobby shops hadnt even gotten yet. It has as much power as many other 40 sized engies. The other problem I've seen is with one of the smaller ones, I'm not sure how big it was though. The guys connetcing rod litterally shattered. It was plenty rich, and he had the proper prop on the thing. After looking at it we found that it was a metalurgy problem because the connecting rod was all pitted, and the inside was almost hollow. Magnum didnt give him any trouble on the warranty though, they just sent him a new one.
