Status: offline 		Today i was trying my tornado in deep sand (football pitch). It really put some dirt in the air and it was fun, but after stopping the car it didnt want to spin rear wheels.
After disassembling whole car i got into rear diff... I noticed a crack like 2 cm long ... What i saw inside stunned me

Status: offline 		as i wrote it had really small crack, probably it got this way, but there must be some "sucking" in gearbox, cause it was really full of sand

Status: offline 		Only one thing got damaged, small bearing that is on joint's shaft. It moves,but needs a little more force than other one. All gears are perfect (it is tough metal, cause it grinded loads of sand and doesnt show any wear).I already glued it and i hope it wont suck any sand now. But what is most important car goes like before . Diff works like it should. Again i had luck with this baby

Status: offline 		Even though these buggies are said to be "off-road" and are 4wd i don't think they are well suited for running in sand and a whole lot of dirt.

There's just too much cleaning required afterwards and in your case damaged parts from sand and dirt. I most times run my car over a bumpy paved surface (off-road) and other times i run on dusty pavements anything else is just a headache for maintenance.

Status: offline 		because i am a bit crazy with my toys i just found really quick way to clean it. I put it in my bath , take shower , put some hot water and just flush my buggy with it. I did it three times up to now and there is no rust besides dogbone "heads" , which is not a big deal. After cleaning with shower i just leave it for 5 minutes on a side , then get hairdryer and dry it . It looks almost like brand new. I try to avoid moisturing receiver box and i already put some plastic bag inside to cover it from water. Works really well, i can give u some footage next time i clean it that way. One more thing, since i drove it on wet grass and sand it was already wet everywhere, so i don't think it can be worse .

I think that this is an appropriate time to use this smiley...

Status: offline 		i am not putting water directly on servos. Engine is water proof, if no oil leaks from it it means nothing will go inside, right ? I am not saying it is a good way to clean a car, but it is surely most efficient one . I can make some video of the whole process after i make my buggy really dirty
