Status: offline 		I know that there have been many topics on this subject, but i have not seen anyone talking about clutch bell. I noticed it is a bit loose on bearings (bearings are actually loose on engine shaft). But a bit loose clutch bell doesn;t explain this kind of wear on aluminum teeth. Can anyone tell me why is it happening?

I don't have an answer for you. I just want to ask you a question.

(not trying to be a smart ****) What kind of camera do you use to take pictures.

My 4 mega pix Cannon does not take anything as clear as this.

Status: offline 		I think our polish friend knows how to use the macro button on his camera
It's the little flower icon on your camera. When you use it, it allows you to focus up close on things.

Status: offline 		it is canon a540. It makes good pictures, but i like to take my time and do it manually, effects are nice, and this is resized

Status: offline 		has anyone ever thought about making a casting for the gears and molding them with some heavy duty plastic??
I am looking into making myself a bunch of parts with some stuff called C-1508..

this is a description of it...
C-1508™ is a relatively low viscosity aluminum filled urethane casting resin that was developed specifically for making short run vacuum forming molds. When Parts A and B are mixed in proper proportion, C-1508 cures overnight at room temperature with negligible shrinkage to a very hard plastic that has a very high compressive and flexural strength. Cured C-1508 can be polished, machined, drilled, painted, etc.

TENSILE STRENGTH (PSI) 6200
COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH (PSI) 11200

sounds pretty strong...

plus i have all the molding crap. just need the mixture, i could make just about anything with it.. for real cheap... muahahah no more broken parts for me..

Status: offline 		from the look of the plastic gear i could say that engine or tranny shifted, because the damage/wear is heavier only on one side , or just really aligned to tightly

It is definetely not that, cause i was driving without 1st gear spur (only 2nd gear engaged). I am wondering why aluminum teeth are sharpened. Did they wear out on plastic spur? It is just nonsense... I think i will go with some hpi setup. I can have clutch bell with thread + 2 gears of my choice for like 20$ (genuine hpi parts from polish hpi shop). it is not that much considering better quality and durability.
