What he's done is transfer the inner push rods to the outside using those cranks that go thru the servo spots , just stating the obvious here....

I have both Great Planes model and Nitro version. The Nitro is a better plane and cheaper. The only thing I can add is both models are not for beginner pilots and you need very little up and down elevator control. It is a bit sensitive to get off water and fly with to much elevator. I also reduced the size of water rudder and it handled much better. Only fly this model off calm waters, good luck. Dale Campbell

btw attached some parts in the plastic and at ...

1. left top 2 pcs servo mount for elev and rudder.. i'll not using this, at the bottom i think is engine mount and i don't know either need to use it or not.

2. at the middle is for wing usage.. but as you see here water will easyly get in if i use this one..

3. at right is i think for wing use also but still thinking how to use it... maybe servo gear will come out with the circle as u can see there but when i mesure with pre hold on the wing.. it's doesn't fit well.. anyone know ho to use this?

thanks in advance

With those servo covers in the wing , glue some rubber glove material over the slot where the servo arm comes out and just slit it with a sharp knife , so the arm will move for and back thru the slit , to help keep the water out

thank you SON OF PALEFACE for your reply.

Now I'm trying to moded the wing servo with stock cover at middle picture but added Aero-Naut #7496/01 and added party balloon. I'll add picture later.

My ARF don't come with water rudder (but it's on manual page #7) duh!

I've flon few float with no water rudder and having no prb and also almost all (not water plane) 3D plane have no wheel and no control on tail dragger. TT seamaster hav this watter rudder and i've flon it with no doubt no prb at all..

I've seen one of friend flon TT seamaster with no water rudder and having no prb if the water clam.

what u think?

thanks
fay

Duh, need to mood it for water rudder, i've few aluminum (from real plane) and i think it's around 1-1.5mm thick and will be fit well.. but then i'll see how it's goes w/o water rudder.

My friend went out of country and will notify you when he meet me up for webbie etc.

So far I always shop at UH for general parts/elec, and for elec heli I do shop at helikraft.com and flying-hobby.com not rc-expert.com (they always delay ship and no online stock status)

for plane try cyclonetoy.com (they have beever! now) , hobby-fans.com ... other than that 2 web they don't reoly your mail if you buying 1pc.

if you ordering beever please let me know how much you get

just surf cyclonetoy and the beever are not in their cart. maybe it's sold out due only last week i saw it' in hot item. wow so fast selling!

btw peakmodel.com also not a bad choice. I bought float from them, same like UH , UH selling cheaper but u can see the shipping are very high.
peakmodel.com offer lower and fast shipping. If you compare at the end , this float at peakmodel.com are more cheaper.

Their plane is not cheap but their quality are super b. hav a look there.

Hi guys, I've few more question.

1. for engine mount centering which the best? I'll mount it side mounting.
draw1a is just mount to center while draw2b i'll up and right a bit for centering engine. which the best?

2. all normal plane will require down (-2) and right (+2) for thrust. The only plane i have up thrust is TT seamaster. (+2). How about this plane?

3. if upthrust require Q1 need to draw under for red line not up.. does it right?

4. what the the perfect CG location on this bird(not GP model)?

thanks in advance.

Yeah Fay its to do with where the motor is relative to the CG , with the Seawind its behind the CG and the Sea master its in front , so the motor needs to point up on the seamaster and down on the seawind...ie the thrust is helping to stop it pitching nose down when you go to full power , because of the high thrust line...the easiest way is to imagine what happens if you make these angles extreme ...comprie , btw thanks for any info on the shopping , have sent an email off to the one u said

Flying this Cessna with floats are very2 tricky to take off and landing.. please don't do short turn else you'll spiral it..
mine have no water rudder and again flying this little things are challenging your flying skill..

2 of my friend has crash this Cessna last week(on take off).. but only cowling has been broken.. including mine there is 3 of this Cessna with float and the only different except elec setup the float made from.

mine still one piecs..

I'm sorry SON OF PALEFACE, I just double confirm with my friend and he say either get it from Rich Model china (I've pm you the URL) or mine he bought from TM Model Hobby China. TM don't have any URL nor phone etc.. so i urge my friend to get any info for this TM company.

This box are very huge and I don't think you can get it from US.

Here GP version selling RM2,300 (ard USD700!) net! what a crazy price .. LHS say that the shipment from GP to here are very expensive due over sized box like coffin and blah.. blah.. blah..

myself luck coz my friend bought it from china direct. and I only pay him RM750(USD200+-) to my front door.
