Status: offline 		I'm going to Britain to visit family this summer and would like to know if there are any Bristish kit manufacturers that I could take a look at (web sites that is) in case I "need" to bring a kit back home Any suggestions?

I am visiting my folks in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and my sister in the Lake District..she just bought a traditional long canal boat and wants to take me on a nice quiet/slow tour around....really looking forward to it.

Enjoy the trip - Cheltenham is a lovely town - very nice, very English but I'm not aware of any particularly good model shops.
You could try my local town Swindon about 30 miles south - Swindon Model Centre - pretty reasonable shop.

I know Gloucestershire pretty well...lived there for the first 19 years of my life Swindon I seem to remember had a really nice rec centre.
