Hello Razor-RCU! The photos originate from the RC Universe market place. Were the only photos. I would have gladly still another photo from downside or above, so that one sees the wings. I give you quite, which 4 strocke engine fits not completely into a Kobra , but interesting it is nevertheless inserted and it goes to me more around the finish .

Aloha,
I'm new to prop jets, but have been flying sport planes for about 1 1/2 years. Just finished this Lanier F-86D ARF, it's electric. I'm looking forward to the maiden, probably next weekend. I hope this will help me get used to fast movers. Here are a few photos. I had since added wing fences to hopefully improve low speed handling. I'll post pictures later, report on there effectiveness on this model.

Hi Guys,
Here are a couple more pics. minus the prop and with a new (bigger) spinner and modified nose gear ( the stock gear seemed to fit too loosely in the bracket)
I think it will look great in the air. (on the ground it looks a little pregnant )

Aloha all,
Finally got a chance to maiden the F-86 today. After hearing so many negative comments regarding tip stalling on take-off/landing and how tricky it was to fly, I was quite surprised and very pleased, that it flew so beautifully. It looked great in the air. (Sorry no video) It flew like any other sport plane I've flown, only faster
All up weight is 6 lbs (including battery pack) CG is 6" back from leading edge (as recommended on the Lanier website)
Flight report: (10 - 15 mph headwind)
Take off : It rolled straight down the runway and rotated, with a touch of up elevator, after about 100 ft, climbed out level. Initial turn: had plenty of power for a scale, climbing, left turn Trim: Needed NO TRIM at all! Flight: Flew circuits for 4 minutes with low speed passes. In flight balance was spot on. No issues with inverted flight. landing: Lands a bit fast, maybe 25 mph, no problems with flare. Summary: Let's just say the turbine guys were impressed. IMHO, as long as your CG is correct, you allow it to build up speed on take off, keep power up in your turns and line up on approach before you cut power (ie fly it like a jet), I don't see any reason to fear this plane. Just fly it scale.
Aside from the electric power system, I did however, make the following modifications: 1. I widened the main gear track by about 3 in. 2. Added wing fences, (1/3 of the way in from the wingtips) to mitigate the reported low speed handling (tip stalling issues)
One thing of note: (for those interested in electric flight) With my setup, it required full power for most of the flight. I perfer flying a 3/4 throttle or less. Next flight I will try a 5 S LIPO battery pack and borrow a 60amp ESC from one of my other planes. (more power is always better!!!!
