The Walkera #52 will have a greater chance of flying than the Micron. If you do a search on the Micron you'll see the frustration level is very high with this heli. It may be why Micron is already bringing a V2 to market. Do the reading on RC Groups and I think you will succeed. The #52 is not a beginner's heli and you should spend some time on a good sim to lower your learning costs.

Hoverup,
Why Thank you very much! Which Sim do you recommend that is reasonable and are they really that helpful?
I suppose they are, as the USAF I am sure uses them! Kinda answered my own question I suppose
If you could recommend a Sim I will buy one. Also, is the training gear helpful as well. It sure looks like it as it spreads the area out underneath the landing gear.

Thanks Hoverup!

I have three different sims and the one I favor because of the realistic physics is the RealFlight G3.5. Use the training gear until you feel comfortable with the heli.

Wow, they are not cheap at all. I guess you get what you pay for. Thats what worries me about the Dragonfly 52.
I really want SMALL though!

Thanks

I GOT IT! I GOT IT! I GOT! Very cool little Heli! Can someone please help me with the PIT adjustment and what is it?
I could only get the rear rudder spinning, then realized I did not charge the Li Po battery correctly! I had a green on the 7.2 volt side and thought it meant it was for the 11.1 side as well! I am HOPEING thats why the main motor was not working! It glitched on once and that was it.
At any rate, could someone explain PIT to me? Is it short for PITCH?

Thanks

I plugged the lipo in on the 52 and when I gave some throttle the main motor did nothing and smoke came out of the 4 in 1 receiver. I think that the main speed control just fried. I have a wattage IC-5A 5 amp speed control that I thought about hooking up to see if it will work but it is not raited for 3cell lipo. And I dont want to ruin anything else. I think it is rated for like 9.something volts. Has anyone tried this? I guess that I am going to have to go brushless sooner than i thought.

I just received the new blades, they are the fiberglass ones for the 64-c. They are heavier than the stock foam blades. So I think that they will last longer but i can see other stuff will take the abuse. Oh well, I got tired of the foam blades tips shattering as soon as they grazed anything at all. I can't tell you how they fly because the main speed control burnt out on the 4in1 and I will have to wait to get the brushless setup. So it will probably be awhile.

The new blades are great and I was able to hook up a 5amp brushed speed control up to the 4in1 just like you would a brushless setup and it works great.

I am getting tired of breaking main blades. I've already trashed 9 sets so far. I managed to get 1 inverted hover in on the stock stuff, but it has never really been that reliable. Controlability is marginal and predictability is even worse. Stock servos seem ok, but might get changed out anyways. I'm hoping to be able to get a DX7 compatible RX put in and maybe a decent gyro. I'm also planning on putting an NSR King slotcar motor in it (38,500rpm motor) and upping packs to Hextronic 460mAh. Adds tons of power without having to put in an extra ESC. We'll see how it all turns out!

Anyone interested in super cheap replacement parts PM me and I'll let you know who to go through. I get main blades for $3.75/set and they have decent shipping times. Anyone still buying from HK is getting ripped!

The biggest hurdle for me with this Heli (and I am a rookie) was just getting the battery in the right location! Once I got it balanced it Hoovers easily!
Also, the stock motors are junk! I have finally installed a Great Planes Ammo 12mm brushless motor. I had to mod the mount holes just a tad to get the motor to fit in.
My motor is now in, I just need a few more parts to hook everything else up. These little heli's sure are cool!
I cannot wait to get mine up and running! My Castle Phoenix 10 ESC is here now too. I am hopeing the Great planes ammo motor lives up to its highly touted reputation. The price was right with a 2 year warrantee to boot!~

I just ordered my brushless setup from rc-dymond.com and got the motor and 12amp speed control for 40.00$ and no shipping. Plus i ordered a 9t and 10t pinions from homefly.com I cant wait but i hope that i get it faster than the lipo that i ordered from heliguy.com I have been waiting for 2 weeks and still nothing. I hate it when an online hobby shop will still sale you something that they know is not in stock. If I would have been told that they were not in stock I would have ordered them somewhere else. But now all i can do is wait.
