Well I flew it again and have to say the saito 100 is definatley not enough for what I want to do. What other engines have you's seen run in this bird? I am open to all suggestions. I was pondering the saito125 but reading the above posts makes me think twice. Is there an ultimate engine for this one? I want to pull out of 3D maneuvers if needed without incident.

Well I crashed mine today......sort of. I ended up deadstick after a 10 sec or so vertical and it stalled. The wind was out of the sw which is from the only house near our field. Well the landing was sweet but too fast....I ended up hitting the houses foundation and pushing my motor through the firewall and sending everything from there backwards. I ordered a new one in less than an hour of crashing....I love this plane!

Mr. Mugen,

Sorry to hear about your crash. Hopefully the engine and servos are ok. Sometimes when the plane breaks apart it saves the engine and other parts.

I'm really surprised how cheap the replacement parts are ... a painted fiberglass cowl for $13 !?

While you could buy the fuse, tail (it's glued on), and cowl for $100, I'm guessing you just went ahead and spent the extra $75 for the whole ARF. In that case, you will have an extra pair of wings and various parts.

Good luck getting her back together.

I did exactly that...spent the other 75 and went for it. I am stoked to buld it again. I will do a few things differently off the start. I read your page on it and plan to duplicate it. I have all the stuff just need the new plane. Thanks for the informative page BTW! Very nice job! Kevin

Flew with the YS 110 today, and it is NIGHT AND DAY better than the S125. It is not even close.....the 110 feels So much more powerfull!!!!!!!!!!! I could not belive the difference

If you want to have power with this plane and have fun get the 110 for sure!

The S125 is just ok........

Howdy All,

I built this plane and stuck a 91fx in it. I was REALLY dissapointed with the performance.. so i have sold the 91fx and thrown a 120ax in it. i have not flown it since, but im thinking the performance is going to be unbelieveable!!

I have reinforced the fuse from the firewall back to the wings. extra epoxy plus triangle supports gues in all corners.

anyone else flown this bird with a 120ax in it before?

i'll let you know how it goes.
