Has anyone ordered from www.batteryspace.com? I am trying to support a 3-son / 4-car R/C situation and www.batteryspace.com has 20 3000 mAh NiMH cells for about $59 + shipping. We don't race competitively (other than against each other) and that seems pretty reasonable for what we need. I just wondered if anyone has had +/- experience with this company and their batteries. Thanks!

I bought a few items from BYDUSA and I would say forget them. I ordered a AAA size 1200mah 5-cell pack advertised as 1.9 oz in weight. I got a AA size 1200mah Nimh 5-cell battery pack that weighs 3.7oz. I would have bought AA Nimh battieries with 1650mah if I wanted AA batteries. They had new Sony camcorder batteries, two for $25. When I got them they looked like my 2-year old camcorder batteries, not new at all. They had scratches, wear, dullness on the plastic from wear, and the contacts were worn. I returned the camcorder batteries but haven't heard back from them about that. After receiving obviously USED camcorder battery packs from them I am glad I didn't send them any more money than I did. S-C-A-A-A-R-Y!

The only source for all my battery needs has been RadicalRC.com. Dave Thacker builds quality packs at low prices with $2 shipping. I've probably bought 30 packs from him so far. -Tom

I bought these....

10 pcs 7.2V 1800mAh Ni-Cd Rechargeable Battery Packs.

http://****/hy1

shipping was $6.23 so the total was $13.18 for 60 cells or 22 cents per cell.

C/10'ed them for 16 hours and checked capacity on a Super Turbo. I was satisfied. Cells are from Japan and not China.

I got two, 4.8v, 1200mah packs from them on eBay.(Nimhd)
When I got the packs, they were from China, and labeled 16000(yes, that is sixteen thousand!) on the battery packs.

One was leaking when I pulled it out of the shipping box.

The other I cycled and it indicated 1200Mah, and seems fine.
It took me over a month of emails, and phone calls, before they sent me another pack for the bad one(you should see all the emails I have saying"your new pack will be sent out on Monday", just didn't say what MONTH!).. . ...and then they enclosed a note which said something to the effect,"we are only going to send you this ONE replacement pack"!

The packs supposedly are guarateed for a year, I only asked for them to replace the ONE pack that was obviously bad!
I guess if either pack has a problem from here on out, tough, because they are not going to replace any more!
The new pack WAS labeled 1200Mah, and on my cycler shows 1200, so hopefully it is a good one, as my first one seems to be.

Next time I need packs, I will just order some from a REPUTABLE dealer, who sells QUALITY cells!!!
