3). The air filter does not come pre-oiled. You'll have to oil it up yourself. Don't waste too much $$$ trying to buy filter oil. Just use after-run oil, and it should work fine. As long as the oil filter is a little sticky and has oil in it, it'll trap dirt and keep your engine safe.

WRONG! Use air filter oil. not necessarily RC specific air filter oil, because that ****'s expensive, but ATV/dirtbike filter oil will work fine too. do not EVER use after-run oil in your air filter! aftermarket engines are great, it's just far less fun shelling out the cash for one because your old engine died prematurely.

I've had it since Monday but really haven't gotten a change to break it in yet. Been too busy. plan on going over it today with a fine tooth comb, and breaking it in Tomorrow.
For 300.00 I personally can't complain, looks to be a bargain. I'm expecting nothing more than a 300.00 basher, if I wanted quality
I would have spent 500-600 on a LST 2. Looking forward to hearing other peoples opinions as this truck gets out there.
I'll post my opinions as I mess around with it.
Just looking at it I have a feeling this thing is going to be a blast and could even surprise a few hard core critics.
Anyway back to my truck I'll post later with any info I have.

OK, so I got the recoil starter fixed. I will finish the break-in process later. I hope things go better this time around.

And yes, there is no slipper clutch assembly, so one may want to take it easy while landing. All the gears are metal though, and under warranty.

I've used after-run oil in my air filters for years. Never had a single problem.
IMO, as long as the air filter is sticky, it will trap dirt and keep your engine safe.

Mine did not have the foam in the tires when it arrived. I called Tower Tech Support and they said they would give me new tires if I had any problems while running. I ran it for about an hour during break-in and found that the running motion kept the tires true and had no problems. Evidently, it being so light, the tires ran okay during the day's runs. I can understand that if the truck was to be jumped, it would definitely need the foams in them. So far the terror has been a good buy for the price.

Hey guys, tell me how to fix this....

Every time I apply any throttle at all to my engine, it dies.
HSN is set at 3 1/2 turns out
LSN is set at 3 1/2 turns out

Digout, what do you have your carb settings at?

look at the manuel it should tell you what the factor or baseline settings are. At 3 1/2 out that seem kinda Rich (to far out) If it doesn't tell you in the manuel then i would set them HSN 2- 2 1/2 and the LSN 2. From what i have sen that should get you going. you might could also try the pinch test to check you LSN setting. It should idle for about 5-6 sec then die. Hope this helps

The manual says 3 1/2 turns out.
I thought that was a little too rich.
I'll try 2 turns tomorrow and see how it works.

Any thoughts on this problem anyone?

Every time I give it gas, my engine dies.
The carb is at factory settings.
Which needle should I adjust? HSN or LSN?
