Well, as far as break in, it was hard to officially break it in, since every time I gave it throttle it died.

well i am not sure i would go quite a full turn in but i coul;d see half and keep fighting with it. You should try to do a complete break in before you lean too far.
What is it like out side temp wise? If it is cold, that will have a major effect on break in also. I live in michigan so i have to wrap my head and cover any body holes.

Well Chris... I just read a very impotent part about your problem..... You are in Colorado... if you are above 3000 feet then you WILL have to run your motor leaner then what most do. And if I'm right your about 5450 ft above sea lvl. Being from Idaho...3300 ft above sea level i run it to this problem a little. Just keep leaning her out till she runs then just keep and eye on the temps and make sure you have a little smoke. You will be fine.

Well, you're both right.
The temp outside was about 40 degrees this evening.
And I am around 5,400 feet above sea-level.
Thanks for all the tips, everyone. I will definitely try them out; hopefully this thing will be running great soon.

if it is 40 then wrap the head to get the engine up to temp. around 40 i use alum foil. A baby sock works great to.
