Two things, does anyone make an aftermarket wheelie bar, or roll bar (or cage), Tower Terror? If not has anyone made one and if so could you post pictures and instructions? Also, are the Tower Pro servos any good? At that price they seem too good to be true!

No after market stuff that I am aware of. I have been using those servos for a couple of months now and none have failed yet. They can be bought on Ebay as well. That is where I got mine, some bulk seller out of Chicago or someplace. I think I got four servos for around 45 dollars, freight paid. I bought four from a Hong Kong Seller too, but he adds unreal shipping and will not combine freight. I think I paid .99 for the pair of servos and 22 bucks a pair to get them here. I figure for the price, I can toss a couple now and then and still be okay, they seem to have ample torque for the Terror stuff. BB

I believe that the roll bar for the Savage will fit the truck. There was a post somewhere up here about it. As for the engine problems I've been having, I guess I've gotten it figured out somewhat. Apparently I was over leaning it and not realizing it. The only problem now is getting the low side adjusted. It's loading up on fuel when idling so it wants to bog down when giving it throttle. Hopefully I'll have it tuned pretty good by the end of the day. Thanks for everyones help!

As far as the wheelie bar I have looked all over to find an aftermarket one and have had no luck. So I made one from a piece of Derlin plastic I got at work, I have had it on for about 2 months and have not broken it yet, I have also modified my wheelie bar to not allow it to do such high wheelies. So far so good it is doing a great job. I have also not found a skid plate, so again I made one out of some aluminum I got from work, it seems to be doing a great job also.

I have bought a better bumper and aluminum skid plate from Kevzdp! They only cost thirty dollars and they look like they are very sturdy. He is mailing them to me. If you're interested just email him at: kevzdp@msn.com.

BudBud, how do you post pictures that are in the post and already big, not the ones that you have to click on to view?

Also, has anyone proven the Savage roll bar to work?

One more thing, are the Tower Pro servos digital?

Cick on the photo in your gallery, when it pops up full size, right click on it and then select properties. It will give the address for the photo. Copy and paste that address into the photo link box. You will need to remove one of the http:// as it will leave two of them in the link and that will not work. I used to have a 200 page website, so I have a liuttle html background. BB

What wheel hubs will work in the Tower Terror? I think that some OFNA ones work but I don't know which ones. Also, does the Savage roll bar work on this truck? Soulja (55?) said he used one on his Tower Terror.

Please reply quickly to this problem! I was running my Tower Terror today and after the run I noticed that two screws were missing. They are the smaller screws that secure the radio box to the chassis at the back of the radio box. I can't seem to find the screw size as the exploded view in the manual is very confusing! Could someone please tell me what size the screws are? I think they are 4X10 but I might be wrong. Also, if (when) I find out what size they are could I get them at ACE or another hardware store? I have included a picture of the missing screws.

What strength thread locker should I use to prevent the above from happening?

Those screws just go into the battery box, and a 4x10 sounds close. Mine loosen up all the time. If you pull the battery box loose, there isn't even a solid hole they go into, more like a slot. So thread lock wont help you there. As far as thread lock goes I use medium blue and it works well for me. Your question about the hubs is answered on this forum some ways back. Hope this helps

But wouldn't threadlock help because the screws go through the chassis which is metal?

No, you need a screw smaller than the hole in the chassis. BB

Edited to add that it is pretty easy to run those screws below the box mount, then they will not stay in. BB

If I were to guess, I would guess that you have a plug of dried fuel in your main Jet. Back the needle out and blow through the fuel line, make sure the carb is open a little ways. You usually can blow the gelled plug through. If you cannot blow through the line, you may need to remove the carb and soak it. BB

Edited to add that you just soak it in fresh nitro fuel. If you are around.. shake the container a little. The fresh fuel will soak into the dried fuel and soften it. Then you can get it to flow again. BB
