Good and Bad

As with all maiden's there are glitches.

1: I had immediate and accurate response to my control input ( some thing I'm not use to)

2: It takes a lot of power to keep in the air.

3: After the first aborted landing, I was going to dump it in the weeds, but I listened to the Inner Moron saying "You can make it around again" well I lost power ( these batteries dump VERY quickly).

Everything was an easy fix, will go from 12S1P to 10S2P for longer flight time.

While reviewing what I remembered vs what was taped, it wasn't a bad maiden, had plenty of power and because it was under the 10 pound mark, it could be flown VERY slow (as can be seen in the aborted landing).

Enjoy, More to follow.

I have one of these on the way as I could not pass up the price. I plan on putting a 26cc gasser in her. I hope I will not be disapointed. I had a Goldberg Ultimate but dumb thumbed it in inverted and low. From what I hear pretty much all ultimates fly good though so I am sure I can get a lot out of this one.

How do you have a 120 "on the way" when they've been sold out since I purchased mine several months ago?

Are they back in stock?

I ordered mine from Raidentech. I hope I did not make a mistake by purchasing one from them as I have heard unsavory customer service stories about them. I paid 200.00 and even though it is a little more than the nitromodels it is still very reasonable. I am hoping it will appear tommorow but the tracking does not seem to be working too well as it just says payment redieved.
So any thoughts on the 26cc gasser? I may change my mind and put my Saito 180 in her. I sort of promised the gas engine to my 1\4 Fokker triplane!

I am not looking to buy a new engine. I already have 2 that will work. That is why I bought this plane. I actually do not plan on buying any nitro engine over a .90 size again. From now on it will be gas. Mainly for cost and cleanliness.

Well, No 120 Ultimate for me. I had placed my order on 12-10-06 and my money was removed from my account and I even recieved an e-mail from UPS complete with tracking number. After waiting 1.5 weeks and not able to track the shipment I decided to call. I had already had 2 e-mails ignored, and NOT to my surprise they never had the plane in stock. (even though the website said it was) I am not upset or anything though but just passing along some info as to how Raidentech does business. I will just be happy to have my money back. I want another aerobatic bipe so maybe I will look at something else.

It looks like this model is back in a new and improved version.

Check the web site now and you'll see that the new version with the new colorscheme is available.

I have never had a BI Plane due to my disability and the putting it together at the field, but i have always admired them and this new one look's really pretty, it just looks so nice and i bet that it also flies really nice, someday soon i too am going to buy a plane from nitro, it seem's that a few people do have to wait for there plane but the quality surely is there and there plane's sure do look nice, my friend just bought there yak and i can only discribe it as simply beautiful and well put together, they say that any ARF should have some ca glue in the joints just to be sure and this is from all suppliers, just a thought. I do love that yellow color it is my favorite color and easy to see in flight.

It looks like mine is on the way. I just checked the tracking and if just left California. There are new pics of the plane on their website also. here link if it works. http://www.nitroplanes.com/ul12055nigas.html. For people who looking to get this plane what servos are you looking to put in wing. It looks like 1 servos each half wing. I have a set of hitech 645 would this work or do I need something stronger.
