Mike,

I would also like to see some pics of yours when you get it done too. I like that trim scheme a lot, and also, it seems structurally different than mine.

Well, I just got my excuse for a tax return from the Fed, so it's set off to the side. Now I need to come up with another 100, so I hope to have it here before the end of April, and airborne shortly after that.
It'll be my first bipe, but I've flown other aerobatic planes and have fellow pilots at the field to ask questions, so I'm not too concerned about flight characteristics.

Not to mention, the G/F really like biplanes, and this is her recommendation, I just happened to find the plane and I'm really excited.

Trust me, you won't be disappointed. It is by far the best airplane I have ever had. I think biplanes fly better than monoplanes. They have more drag, so they don't pick up speed as fast when you get them running down hill, plus they have shorter wings and four ailerons, which makes for a better roll rate. All in all, I love flying mine.

I would agree with jetfixr. This is a nice flying plane. However I do like flying my Edge 540

Well had 5 flights today on the ultimate. Was shooting for 7 but the screws that hold my canopy came out in a blender. The more I fly this bird the more I like it. This is a very smooth flying plane.

Patzane,

I had the same problems with the screws on the canopy. I just put spacers on the fuse sides so there is no gap between the canopy tab and the fuselage sides. I then added some blind nuts on the canopy tabs and now use 4-40 screws to hold it in place. I haven't had any problems since. Do you have the pink version or the yellow version?

Jetfixr I have the new yellow. I also had 4-40 screws and blind nut on the tab. Don't think I tighten them down before I flew. Glad it last 4 flight.

You should post some pics of your yellow one. I haven't seen it except for the pictures on the website, but from those, it looks really good. I will post some pics of mine soon. I have the pink one at the beginning of this post, but have since completely recovered it in a black, silver, red, white, and yellow Red Bull trim scheme.

Finally I got some pictures of the re-cover. It looks pretty different than what it was on page 1.

Dude, that looks sweet!

The brown truck just delivered mine today. I got the yellow one. I plan on using HG5625MG's all around, and my Brillelli26cc engine. I just hope that the engine fits well in the cowl. I'll find out tomorrow when I get the motor back from service.

I'll post pics of the build if anyone is interested.

Looks great, where did you get the redbull decals? I'am finishing my Dave Patrick ultimate and was thinking of something different for the covering.

I got the redbull "bulls" off of ebay. They are pretty thin decals, and could definitely be better made, but they were cheap. The redbull lettering I got from a friend of mine who can make stuff like that. Overall, I thought it turned out ok though. I actually have a scratch built 37% ultimate I am finishing in the same scheme. I will get better bull graphics for it though.

Hey guys, I just got the engine mounted on mine. It's a tight fit, but it'll work.

That engine looks good on there. Should definitely be plenty of power. Are you going to have to do a lot of cutting on the cowl?
