Ok guys I have A savage le and love it, so I need to charge batteries for my rotostart witch are the 6 cell NiCd batts, but I also want to buy a hump pack witch is a NiMH I think. I also am gonna be getting an rc18mt and They use those rechargable packs- http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJHT3&P=ML to but the ends are differend they are like squared. I also might be using lipos,What should I use lipos, or normal ones like the ones that come with the truck. What would the difference be in run time? what are some good and cheap lipos, i heard pople say you can get Gp3300 packs at radioshack for like 25 bucks, are there any better ones in that price range? Also what do i have to do to charge these, are they really dangerouse, Also how would i connect them to the rc18mt arent the ends different? I also want a good charger. i was gonna get this one but i dont know , http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXXG87&P=ML is there any charger that i can charge all these batteries at one, or with the same charger, if not are there any connectors or anything?

That charger will work fine for charging your Rotostart packs, and Radio Shack GP3300's are probably about the best 6 cell packs you'll find for that price. By hump pack I assume you mean a receiver pack to power the servos on your Savage? If so, get any NiMH 5 cell hump pack. I'm not sure if any shapes other than hump-style will fit in the Savage because I don't own one. Here is one pack you could use: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFJT1&P=ML. That pack or others like it could be charged with the charger you linked to as well. You'd have to use the 1 amp charge rate on channel 1. I'm not sure how you'd connect the pack to the charger. Tower Hobbies says the charger comes with an adaptor smaller packs, but I'm not sure if it would work with a receiver pack.

When you mention Lipos I assume you want to use them with your RC18T. Lipos will work great if you can find the right pack, but they require more equipment and a bit more care than NiMH batteries like the stock pack. Also, the charger you linked to will not charge Lipos. There are chargers, like the Duratrax ICE and some others, that will charge all the types of batteries you need. Maybe stick with the stock battery for now and see how that works. The RC18T comes with a charger for its battery pack, so you could see how you like it then buy a better charger if you decide to go Lipo.
