I think i saw it posted somewhere but apparently the body size is 190mm.
Just a tip. To make things easier to follow, instead of posting a bunch of different questions in individual threads, just post in one that's already going.
Makes finding things that much faster.
Also lessens the chance of people missing things

No no, don't be sorry. It's all good.
I didn't mean that in a ridiculing way or anything. Just trying to make things easier for people trying to follow along.
Feel free to post as much as you want.
No ones told me to shut up yet

You need a 200mm body to fight the Lightning. pretty much any of 'em should fit.

I've got myself the tornado xp buggy. I like the thing a lot. Does well on the street and I can jump it if I feel like playing off road. I've only had problems with the gears stripping and a couple broken parts, but other than that it's been pretty solid.
I really like the volcano pro but it's a bit on the pricey side from what I've seen. I may end up getting just the sv version and upgrade a few parts along the way. Probably the steering arms and things like that.
I bet a 1/8 nitro car would fly. Get a big old engine on one and lots of light weight carbon fiber and you have yourself a missle.

Do you have a local track that you take your lightening out to or are you just a parking lot warrior?

Aewsome stuff. Whats the difference between a carpet track and a regualar paved one? Is it just easier on the tires or is there a completely different driving style to it?
I mostly drive on a pretty tight and technical track down here in tallahassee. It's at a park here in town. When i feel like opening the thing up I'll usually take it to a baseball field or some of the dirt roads in town.

Speaking of tires though how often do you have to replace the tires on the road car?
I know I drove around on some pavement with my buggy and a few tanks later the things were bald.

i havent replaced the tires yet i still have plenty of tread left on em even though i do a bunch of dougnouts and for your tires question only electrics run on carpet they run on foam tires and us nitro guys run on rubber tires.............. but i'm not sure about the 1/8 th scales i think they run on foam tires
