GREEAAAATTTTT, I am so SURPRISED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 7 working days from OMP warehouse to my house in SPAIN,

I have spent about 10 minutes taking a look tothe plane and everything seems to be IN PERFECT CONDITIONS. As OMP told me, I can see Jhon prepare the plane with some newspaper pages. I will start to make it tomorrow.

I will post my doubts because I am sure will come. The manual came with the plane but seems not to cover some themes. Anyway, I have a couple of doubts as I posted in the main profile forum. Here they go: I APPRECIATE ANY HELP GIVEN......

I have an OS40 (the standard version) without use and wonder if it will be enought to make harrier and hovering. Will I have power enought?

In the case, I start using the OS40 and later on decide to change to an OS46FX, will I be able to use the same holes or I may can damage the nose of the airplane because the need of making new holes?

To finish, I have 3 Futaba 3001 servos totally new. Where do you recomend me to use them? Which servos would you recomend me for the other 2?

I wil be in contact...

Regards

I'm not sure about the OS 40 & how it will do, but for the servo's I originally used Futaba 3004's all the way around & they worked fine. I had the Aileron's flutter on me once so I decided to upgrade the aileron's to 3151 (standard digital's) and that tightened everything up and I haven't had a problem since. The real key to remember is that the Kat isn't a plane to fly fast and you'll be fine.

Once in the air, are there any differences really between the origional Katana, and the newer K2 with 2 piece wings? Is the K2 any heavier, require more power, fly differently, or?

thanks,

Ernie

yes there is.
The V2 is more stable Harrierying...

the center of wing is heavier, with lighter fuselage aloud perfect super stable flight this way...
It might be a little heavier than the other kind by few g but it deffently fly much better
and only using standart 46 size motor and servo's

Marki, Your 40 will fly the plane, no question there, but I think you would be much happier and have a much better 3D machine with the 46. Servo-wise, Standards will work fine, I have 3004's in mine with no problems at all. You just have to use the left stick, remember these planes are not designed nor do they like all out speed. Glad yur plane made it there safe and sound, I'm sure you will love it.
