Status: offline 		While looking for the site about the plast-kut, that little wonder tool that will guarantee beautiful planes and promote flying skills, I ran across some good advice. Use scissors. It works great. Regular cheap scissors from ***mart. However they must be sharp and the tip that rides inside the flute must be smoothly rounded so as not to score the flute from within. If held against the left flute wall when zipping along they will go straight down the middle. Against the right wall they will cut very close to the wall. Go down both walls of the flute, back and forth, and you have the famous patented spad hinge. The scissor blades together are a loose fit inside the flute therefor the convenient middle or side cut. Hinging across the flutes is also easy. An abrasive masonry blade in a circular saw set to cut almost all the way through just leaving one wall untouched. A skewer parallel to the hinge line for stiffness and horn support and that's all she wrote. A regular saw blade would probably work also.
