Status: offline 		I have a 1.3M pixel Pencam and according to its instruction manual, there is a way to disable the auto shut-off function by simultaneusly pressing the mode and shutter buttons. I tried it, but the camera still shuts off after about 50 seconds.

Does anybody knows about this?

AFAIK, simultaneously pressing the 'Mode' and 'Shutter' buttons only result in the camera performing a system 'reset' not disabling the auto-off function.

In all the times I've read my manual cover-to-cover I've never seen it mention anywhere about this feature???

Currently the only way to disable the auto-off function is to either power the PenCam via the USB link from a computer or to 'hardwire' the USB port internally to a RX +5V rail.

I found just two small screws but haven't been able to open it, do you know how to open it?
