Well first thing is first, i gutted all the stock electronics, and threw a carbon front shock tower and hinge pin brace. Didnt like how flexable the stock tower was. Also put one of the RPM blue gear covers on it.

Another thing you might consider, to cut the front shock tower flex, is running a brace across the top of it using the spare shock mount holes in that CF piece. It can add a lot of rigidity with very little weight.

I never said I owned 50 RCs. But if you look in my gallery, you will see that my race cars use deans, I just haven't upgraded the maxx yet because I use cheaper packs with it that use tamiya.

It is a customized 4-link suspension. 4-link suspensions are made to increase suspension travel and traction on uneven surfaces. Also a 4-link suspension can have anti-squat. What happens is when I accelerate with the maxx, the rear end actually lifts up under power rather than drop down.

I use Pro-match IB 3800 packs for my race cars, and I just received a custom made LIPO saddle pack for my BJ4. I am just as picky about battery packs as I am about car setups when it comes to my race cars.

I don't use those same packs in my e-maxx, I use cheaper ones since I just use it for bashing anyway.
