Chevys were and will always be great vehicles. I say this from experience. Now why would you pity anyone for liking chevy? Have you driven them, worked on them? What gives you the right to diss any chevy? Ive driven and worked on many of them from a 71 chevelle to your rich uncles corvette.

...yes I've driven a few myself and in a few. I have a right to talk about Chevy, its called freedom of speech. Anyway I could care less if you worked on them. A cars potential is seen on the road when being driven not when its being worked on (which of course is a common thing for Chevys to be in the shop!). There are much better car companies out there than Chevy, unless please convice me as to why Chevys are great cars. The only Chevy I would take would be the Z06 but the rest are crap. Sorry...

BTW I'm talking about the more current Chevys not those in the 1960s/70s.

Of all the american cars ive worked on(chevy, ford, dodge), chevy is the easiest to work on. Everyone in the automotive industry has thier own opinion. Yes, you do have freedom of speech...as we all do, so I and anyone else who likes and respects chevy will never shut up(and niether will you). But, to each his own. And just to let you know...chevy is the least I get in my shop.

But, lets both stop and calm down while were ahead. We can go on and on at this forever, lets just drop it and get back to the threads subject. Deal?

Agreed we'll go back on topic but like you said to each his own. I understand it may get annoying for some people too so lets stop here.

Maybe DM got tired of all the arguing about if it's better to run a heatsink on a motor or not or if chevy is better than dodge. Or maybe the parts he's waiting on haven't come in yet. I'm kind of interested in seeing the final result of his project though because I just ordered my first RC (a rustler) and it should arrive in a day or 2.

Well I wasn't dissen chevys Iceman, and my grandpa works for a car dealer ship and thier tow truck (a pick up with a trailer) is a 2500 chevy 2wd and has 350,000+ miles on it of nothing but pulling cars on a trailer. He also has a small chevy caviler with 248,000 miles on it and runs like a new car.

Btw. the only parts ever bought for them other than basic matinece was a tranny overhaul in the truck and a new drive shaft on the truck.
