Status: offline 		I have a superbrain 959 among my collection of chargers, and it doesnt seem to charge at all... I have done a thourough search of this site as well as google and realizes the umerous complaints of false peak. I dont belive that this is what is happening to my charger tho.

I connect a batt to it and it gives me a readout... then disconect it and plug it into the wall and it gives me the same readout. i can hit the button on the far left and it will scan thru the modes or whatever they are ( dont have the charger in front of me) but the other 2 buttons including the start button dont seem to work. any ideas?

I havent used this charger in a few months and would really like to see it working again.

Also what is the false peak mod?

Status: offline 		Hi, welcome to rcu. I think that when plugged into the wall it should show a voltage of zero without a batt hooked up. If it's not chargeing then it could be a bad fuse , but the charger isn't really serviceable. You may also tryto see if it works on DC power by using a car battery.

I'm kinda curiuos as to hat happens when the start button is pressed? It should go thru a test mode normally and then start chargeing.
