Hi

Just wondering if anyone has succesfully installed and flown the walkera 36 with the metal head upgrade....

My one seems to want to spin left due the extra torque produced by the added weight of the metal head... ( is that maybe why they are hard to purchase these days) other thatn looking better i can't fly the heli... i have given the rear rotor maximum travell in its favour and even the gyro tries to max it out but it doesn't have enought oomph to keep the heli from spinning let alone try to turn it... can anyone please help...??

I have installed the metal head upgrade without any problems - the heli flew normally. I would suggest check for additional vibratiosn from the head or check the gyro location that it is not too close ot the metal head

you've got too much pich dialed in! porobably havent got the rod up the centre of the shaft set up correctly. I no need for a pitch guage but set the blade sup near horizontal when the throttle is down in neutral and in normal mode. Give it 50% PLT on the collective then slowly tweek pzt till hover is nice.
