I have been looking at your web site and I see a 5s4p 8000mAh pack in a stick configuration, but my installation calls for a brick shape. Is there any chance that you could make me two of this size packs. I'm also building a 1/5 scale P-39 Aircobra that the stick packs will fit into nicely. I am currentyl using a pack that I purchased from another battery vender about a year ago. I have used these large packs to fly my giant mustang six times now and last night after flying, I came home to recharge them and niticed I have a puffed cell. Is there any chance that it can be repaired, or must the whole pack be replaced?

Thanks,
Darrell

Hi Darrell

For most applications when a plane calls for a 5S4P pack, we recommend using two 5S2P packs in parallel. There are no negatives to doing this other than the space required is a little larger, but the positive is that if you have a problem like you are having with the pack that you mentuioned, it is less expensive to replace "half" a pack.

There isn't really a fix for replacing one puffed cell in the pack. Are you using any method of keeping the pack balanced?

Mike
