I think it is a great motor. I've got over 2 gallons through mine so far and it is running perfect! Lots of power and great run times. The only issue I had with it was a leaking front bearing straight from the box. Since that's been replaced I have not had a single issue from the motor. Starts great and runs strong. I'm running an O'Donnell 99 plug and 30% O'Donnell fuel with the S5 head and stock shims.

Power wise it has more bottom and top end than even the best RG's and it keeps up with most other engines down the straights. It doesn't have as much top end as an RB S5 of C6 but for the price it is a great engine! And unless you have a REALLY big straight or a TON of traction I don't htink you will notice much difference on top end.

I don't have the ECO model, but I don't think that any RB sells anything that isn't at least competitive. I've run my RG against a couple of these and they seemed to run good. I run my RG on the lean side and the ECO were at least as powerful as my RG.

I am becoming more and more of a fan of the RB and Novarossi engines and their economy models are interesting. My only problem is that the RG does run fairly well and at $109 each, you don't have to baby it. I run mine at 250 - 260 and it just screams. Not having to worry about my engine leaves a lot more time for tuning my suspension and practice.
