At the moment we are unsure there are still a lot of other planes to come down the pipe but I hope that some day we will be able to do one as a QB.

I hope you do, it will definately make it's way to my hanger. The old one is about worn out, and maybe it's about time to move up a size or two.looking really hard at the H9,but it's a little pricey, although if you were to make a 150cc size QB, it's the one I would buy. Here's to future luck.......

Hi,
So what happened to Aero-works ultimate's? There is none on the website...

Did World Models pick up the ultimate? It looks like they sell the same planes aeroworks had?

Are there any good kits of ultimates? I would like to build one maybe...

thanks

The world models ultimates are copys of our old design. As far as I know there are no kits in the 50cc+ size for an ultimate.

Dear MIKEC3D.

About this question ( AEROWORKS MODELS) the planes was made by WORLD MODELS until last year... after some problems WORLD MODELS cancel the relashionsip with AEROWORKS and now the ultimates and the katana are available directly from WORLD MODELS.
That models are not a copy!!!!! We should not say that WORLD MODELS planes are the same of AEROWORKS but we should say that AEROWORKS are the same of WORLD MODELS...

This models are great... The 42% ULTIMATE wins the TOC so what can i say... i have one .... and fly like a bird

Thanks

JM

I just got a 33% Ultimate from www.chiefaircraft.com who also sells the 27% Ultimate (look under World Modles planes) which I also have from them. Both are recent. You can also get them from www.airborne-models.com. I believe that Aeroworks was a distributer for these planes from World Modles.

To clear a few things up these planes both the katana and ultimate were our designs and were manufactured by world models. These models are direct copys of ours and the only difference may be the scheme. As far as the toc winning 42% Ultimate that was designed and built here as one of the prototypes and then the smaller models came after it. Please get your facts straight before coming on here and posting.

I know it's a bit late but I just finished mine from aeroworks.
I installed a pull-pull elevator, rudder and throttle and was happy to come in at 24 lb 4 oz. w/ DA-100
Maidend it last Saturday and was very pleased.
Looking forward to the next shipment of 50cc yaks.

I should add that the carbon landing gear spinner and tail gear helped also.
What would be a good 3 blade for my DA-100? There is a bit of complaints starting about with my 28-10.

Keith, see above on QB 260 post about the 3 blade Biela 26 x 10. Don't go up on pitch but leave it at 10, going down two inches is okay. I had great luck with mine.

AEROWORKS ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who else has won 4 of 5 TOC competitions, they are not a COPY of anything but their own design. Top quality everything, ULTRACOTE not cheap chinacote that flys loose after two flights. We need to get the facts straight before we start badmouthing a product.

I'm saving my pennies and patiently waiting for the 20-300 that will hoefully come out this fall. I've done a few 50cc Ultimates and now want to make the jump to a bigger Ulitimate -like 150cc! Hopefully the prototypes are passing the mustard (Hot Dawg!).
