I think the T Maxx should be everyone's first truck.

Parts availability is THE issue with these things (MT's in general), especially when you are just getting started.

You can find Traxxas parts at almost ANY LHS in the country. I'm suprised that WAL-MART hasn't started selling them......

As far as what breaks? ALL the parts on ANY truck will break. The T Maxx is pretty tough right out of the box, not the toughest, but it will take a beating and come back for more.
I've broken a couple A arms, bumpers, bulkheads, hinge pins, and on RARE occasion, a spur gear. It all depends on how stupid you get with it. I beat the crap out of mine on a regular basis. I try to keep a few spares on hand, but a $50 trip to the LHS once a month or so, and I'm in fine shape.

Well I have a Revo and I love it . Usually it's the rear skidplate or the a-arms that break and occassionally a manifold .
