Hi

How can you find a broken antenna cable if you don't have a soildering iron?
There is a bit of wire still comming out of the RF box.
I still want good range, but as a temperary fix what would do?

Thanks

just take another wire and attach it and run it up the antenna post and be done. make sure it is long like the stock antenna because it is that long for a reason

I would contact the LHS or manufacturer for a proper replacement. Cobbling something together only increases your chance of interference, poor reception, and a runaway. When it comes to radio gear, i say do it right.

I've used 22 guage wire the same length or longer than the stock one and i found it worked better.

Replacing the whole wire is a good advice. But I have just soldiered a new piece on to the piece sticking out the receiver in a pinch and never had a problem.
