The instructions show 12* throw on elevator which is about 1 1/8" throw in each direction..this sure is not much throw..can someone confirm this for me please.

That throw is for normal flying. If you want WILD take it to the limit. I get 3" of deflection out of mine

that throw is plenty for normal, non 3-d flying. I have triple rates on mine, with the numbers you post being my low rates. I rarely need to go higher rates than "low" unless I am doing 3d

On low rates(IMAC) My elevator is set on 3/8" deflection and -30expo.
On High rates it's on 2 1/2" deflection and -75 on expo.
I bought the plane from a guy that was already doing very well with the plane in IMAC, so I have left the settings alone .

Wow...my lows are set at you highs..and my highs are 40+ with 65% expo. I am thinking about setting everything lower mechanically..I have been flying foamies and larger 3D E stuff so long where max throw is the norm that watching the elevator move 1" just does not seem to be enough. I will reset everything to 12* on elevator and 16* on ailerons and increase the max throws as we get more stick time. I am sure I could handle it but I don't want the 1st. flight to be a flight I have to fight to keep from snapping it all over the place.
What has me thinking I will need more throw is the vids of it in harrier and 40+ is happening but it's gonna take a flight or two maybe before I am comfortable. My partner that is going to be flying with me is much younger and I tought him well..he is much faster on the sticks than me and I doubt he will shake less too..LOL
