I just finished my first build...a Dumas Scarab S Type (44 inches) with a 260 PUM, B.H. Hanson pipe, Enforcer SBD III Drive and, Marine Specialties HBR Dual Rudders. I havent completely tuned the engine for performance yet, but its runnung at 48 MPH right now, som Im pretty happy .
The pics below are my boat before I painted it.

Nice ...
But I think you need to clean out your pool

One thing I noticed looks a little questionable .
The distance between your stuffing tube and the collet . Looks a bit too long ( meaning there is too much flex hanging in mid air )
Otherwise ... nice build and good luck with her .
Others might be able to tell you best prop to run if you ask .....

Just wondering, how much did the whole build cost ya because I might build one and would like to know how much cash I would need...thanks

All in all, it cost me about 1,100 bux, but it was well worth it!

use a 270,275 prather prop for that boat.i,m not sure but i saw that your engine is not exactly lined to shaft .nice boat i own one still not used but if i have time i will fit azenoah on it. zenoah standard carbs 644 can be raplaced by a 257 carb better punch .see you

not to bother you but that grey coil fix it with two bolts on pull start as in the future it will snap or cut the earth lug.
