Dave McDonald uses 1/4x20 nybolts to hold the fin on his PBF's. 2 nybolts up through the stab & PVC threaded into the flutes of the fin.
Would in be OK at the higher speeds of a DPS?
How about mounting the servo center of the PCV and using pull-pull to the rudder and laying the elevator servo on its side to the the rear of the rudder servo.
Also how about duel aileron servos so I can have flaps?
Or should I quit trying to reinvent the wheel as build it as per the plans?

I'd skip on the nylon bolts. The tail on the DPS is bolted through one of the sides of the fuselage, and will work great where it is. Won't effect flight one bit.
But, if you really want it mounted in the center, i'd use the corners of a piece of scrap pvc to make an L bracket. Take a look at the debut plans to see what i mean. That would center the tail, but, its really not necessary.
As far as a pull pull on the rudder, you could do that as well, but, there is a problem. The tension from the pull pull cables makes the hinge line mush, and over time it wont center well. If you have to have a pull pull, i highly suggest cutting the rudder off, and reinstalling it with hinge point hinges, glued in with goop, or welder, or ca, or polyglue.

Servo installation is whatever works well for you. I set mine up on my DPS with both of them zip tied to the side of the fuselage. Take a look at the demon plans to see what i mean.

Dual aileron servos are a blast on the dps, couple the elevator to the flaps, just like on a funfly, and its a hoot. One note, though, don't attempt to deploy them as flaps alone. The tail moment is very short, and the flapperons tend to act more like elevons, and overpower the elevator, resulting in a nose dive, However, for hovering, flapperons coupled to the elevator work great.

Didn't think about the hinge, thanks.
The duel aileron servos I will do.
See any problem putting them on the botton of the wing, I have the engine turned side ways, the pipe is under the PVC, should keep the wing clean.
Would cutting holes for the servos and screwing into the 4mm coro hold or do in need some kind of a doubler.

nothing wrong with putting them in the bottom of the wing at all. You do need to glue a pvc doubler inside the 4 mil for the servo screws to grip into, as they will pull out of the coroplast alone.
Depending on where they are mounted, and how thick my spar is, i've been known to mount the front 2 servo screws straight into the spar, and just use a pvc doubler for the rear servo mount screws.

Thanks ChrisSpad.
The spar the strong point in the wing and a will make great servo mount.
I can see I need to think out of the (balse) box I'm stuck in.

Another great way to mount servos into 4mm coroplast is cut yardstick scraps into sticks that fit perfectly into the flutes. Cut out the hole in the wing for your servo, then slide the yardstick pieces in the flutes positioned where you need them for the servo screws. Once in place I like to drip thin CA down the flute to soak into the wood for strength and longivity.

You know, I don't want to give anyone any crazy ideas or anything, but I flew a 4mil wing with dual aileron servos forever it seemed like. Probably a couple hundred flights. The funny thing is I just screwed the servos right into the 4mil underside of the wing with #4 sheet metal screws. They held like mad ! Not once did the servos come loose and I flew the plane pretty hard. Don't try this at home !
