Thanks doublesixes, and Karldascher. You're right. The Hitec 645s are also a good choice.[:D] I should have made clear that my advice was to jrotor, who asked about using the Futaba 3010s nylon gear, with 90oz/in torque at 6 volts. Those I would not use. The 645s, as well as the JR ST126MGs are a good chioce. I think the JR sports may be a little faser, but either one is a good choice for sporting, and not too radical aerobatics. When I started in this hobby, I began with a JR radio system. I stayed with the JR products for a while, and have began experimenting with other servos, and recievers. I came to find that the Hitec servos, and recievers are of good quality, and work very well with my JR transmitters. They seem to be less glitchy than the JR recievers that I've used (really, almost glitch free), and will accept any servos you want to use.[:D] I've recently started a 50cc project, and I'm using all Hitec servos, except for the rudder. I researched, and found out that the Hobbico CS-170, ($89.99) is the same servo as the Hitec HS5955TG, ($114.99). Which one would you use?[:)] There is nothing wrong with the Futaba products that I'm aware of. I just started with the JR, and some of the Hitec products are universal use, so I've mixed them up a little, and have had good results[:D] I hope this helps, and clarified my last post. Fly safe.
