ive read that cooling your batteries while charging makes it harder for the charger to detect them peaking. if i form charge, would it help cooling the batteries so that hopefully the charger won't detect the peak?

Probably won't make any difference as they may not get real warm anyways at a c/10 rate.

alright thanks. i actually did a form charge(or atleast as close as i could to a form charge) last night and it actually hit the 15 hour mark which was perfect. it didn't detect the peak and the battery was still not that warm. im currently doing my other battery pack now and so hopefully it'll be done sometime tonight at like 10:30. ill then discharge them tomorrow by just bashing around since i dont have a discharger. ill bring a watch and see what kind of runtime difference i got just from 1 formcharge. one pack with a p2k2 lasted around 25 minutes while the other lasted around 35 minutes with a stock tamiya 540, dont know the turns though.
