Have you looked at the Instruction Booklet that came with the TS2? I helped write that thing and it contains lots of useful information.
You don't need a tuned pipe. That radio system should work fine. The O.S. XM is an excellent engine.

Hey jrizo1,
I'm in the process of putting my TS2 together. Here are some things that I found out: I found the template for the OS outboard to be slightly off. It the dimensions it says are very important did not match the dimensions that are on the template. I think the two top holes were too low by a 1/4 inch. I would measure to be sure.
Also, be very careful with the brass inserts that you epoxy into the transom: I found them to be a little weak.
And finally: don't be stupid like me and cut the steering push rods too short. I cut them twice and they were still too short!

Good luck,
John

HI NEED HELP TO CENTER THE ENGINE

mark the center of the transom, also mark the center of engine mount and align it,, then check the height of the mount make sure u have enough allowance when adjusting the engine height based to the prop line is parallel with the sponson bottom, then drill it for screws. hope this is what u mean.

The crack is more superficial than structural. It is along the seam line and the paint will sometime break along the seam.
You have a couple of options:

1. I've covered cracked seam lines in RTR boats with MonoKote Trim Sheet the same or near the same color.

2. Return the boat for a replacement hull. Instructions for returning the hull are in the Instruction Manual.

There are photos in the IM showing how the holes are drilled in the transom for mounting the engine.

80 oz. in. of torque is sufficient for a 3.5 OB.

ur radio might have a reverse servo, try to check it and set to other way.

to trace the fuel line from the fuel tank, one line will go to the carb, the other line will go to the muffler for pressure, make sure this thing will not interchange...now for waterline assuming ur using OS motor at the end of the cavitation plate there is a water pick-up, connect a tube there and the other end to the one of the nipple fitting in the cylinder haed.

there is also an oiler line coming from the bottom side of the muffler to the side of the lower unit.
