Hi Rog --

The magazine is out of business, but the plans service is still selling. To be certain your order is processed, it's probably better to call -- they can sometimes be difficult to reach. I suspect that only one person is running the plans operation and office hours are not always the same.

Unless you can pick up the kit at a really good price, this is one of the easiest planes to scratch build I've seen. I think I have all of 4 hours in my S-Tee fuselage that is completely scratch built. The wing ribs are the same for both planes, as is 90% of the design. Just start building 2 and modify as necessary for the individual plane. The only mod I'd suggest is to beef up the landing gear mounting inside the fuselage. Every one I didn't beef up broke by the 2nd or 3rd landing and required surgery to repair before flying again (or leave the gear off entirely to save the weight and drag). Let me know if you want some picture of the LG, I should be able to get something to help from either of my planes.

Hi freefall66,

Aerosphere has recently purchsed the copyrights to most of the old Airtronics kits and will have a full laser cut Q-tee kit out very soon (2-4 weeks)

The Q-Tee is available as a full kit at www.aerosphereonline.com. We’ve kept all the things that have made the Q-Tee so popular for so long, while making numerous subtle improvements. It’s even faster and easier to build with more precut parts, including laser cut wing tip caps, gussets, cowl pieces, notched flooring, wing and fuselage sheeting, etc. The parts fit exceptionally well and match the professionally laid-out, full size construction plans. It comes with a complete hardware package and as always, the Q-Tee flies fantastic.
