drtmind01: If you get the Align gear (11 T and 12 T) they should mesh perfecty with the stock #36 main gear. Make sure you mesh them correctly. I usually have about 0.3 mm space between the two gears. You can also put two pieces of paper (thickness) as a spacer in between the two gears - just run the two gears with the paper in between, then tighted the motor mounting screws. If you mesh the two gears too tight, you will overheat your motor, and may strip the main gear. If you mesh the two gears too far apart, there will be a lot of gear 'play', vibration, and may also result in the main gear stripping. If you get it just right, when you turn this outrunner motor, it will move smoothly, without much force. Take your time. You're suppose to be having fun. Good luck.
