Hello

I just recieved a Adjustable Voltage Regulator from your company. I feel kinda dumb but I don't fully understand the directions of what I need to do to adjust the voltage and how to verify if I did it properly. I plan on using either a 7.4V 2 cell or 4 cell relion battery that I want to regulate at 6 volts. Can you help?

Thanks

Tom

Hello Tom,
I am sorry if the instructions are not clear. To adjust the voltage you need to short two of the three pins that come out the side. If you look at the manual you will see which pair will make the voltage go down and which will make it go up. To short the pins you can us any metal object, a screw driver works just fine. If you hold the pins shorted for more than about 1/2 second it will start to auto-increment and the voltage will continue to increase or decrease until you remove the short. If you just momentarily short the pins you will just go up or down one increment, about 0.08V. You will need a voltage meter of some kind to read the voltage. You also need to have a minium load on the regulator, anything over 20mA will do. One way is to connect one of the output leads to the receiver and the other lead to the meter. Another way is to use a meter with a built in load.
Please let me know if the instructions are still not clear.

Hi,
I would imagine so. I am not that familiar with the 8-ball. All you need to do is put some load on the regulator.
