Lyle Larson ( http://www.angelfire.com/ok2/racewithme/lylepage.html ) has, or at least had, a Midget Mustang kit for the .40-size Formula 1 event: 450 square inches, 7" x 3" fuselage cross-section, 5 lbs. all-up. I'm holding one of these for a buddy, framed up and ready for paint with a Rossi .40 installed. If you're interested in an airplane at this stage of construction, send me a PM and I'll put you in touch with him directly to negotiate a price.

Thanks for the reply...sounds a good offer, but with the exchange rates as they are at the moment, its a bit expensive to freight out a whole plane. You say you have one ready to paint.Did this come as a kit or have you built it up. Could be interested in kit form or fuse and plan .any photos? ...cheers Graeme.

Graeme,

No photos, unfortunately, at least not for a few days at least ... the airplane was built from Lyle's kit (glass fuse, foam wing cores, plans) and finished out to the primer stage. My buddy did a good job on it, but shelved the project for a while when the F1 contests petered out. We did some horse trading, I ended up with some of his paint and promised to put some paint on it whilst doing another airplane, never got to it, he said not to worry ... you know how those things go sometimes.

I sure understand about the shipping. Lyle probably still has the molds; he'd probably work a deal with you for fuse and plans only, or whatever you like. Maybe he could fax it to you.
