it will be hard to get parts for it because it has been discontinued. the t4 is the hottest one on the market along with the xxt for ready to run. this is what people are racing at my local club.

Parts are still available for the RC10, but in order to make it competitive with todays cars you will need to upgrade a lot of things on the RC10. You would be better off getting a RC10B4 if you want a buggy or RC10T4 if you want a truck. Those are todays standard cars. I remember you were asking about trading a DS w/ 2 games for the RC10. Before you trade you really should learn more about the RC10. Over the years AE made some changes to the RC10 before designing the B2. Like the stealth transmission and wider front arms. The RC10 your looking at, I assume it is a buggy, does it have the gold chassis and white parts? If so then you need to look at the transmission or ask if it has the stealth transmission. Look at this pic. It shows the stealth and older 6 gear transmission. The red one is the stealth ... the white one is the older style 6 gear transmission.

Keep an eye on eBay, I just picked up a T4 rolling chassis for $51. I already have the electronics, so I just need to pick up a body and I'm golden.

Another one (with a body even) just went for $55. Full shocks, transmission, everything but the motor, radio and ESC.

Nope, keep your eyes to yourself. Leave eBay to me, I need the bargains.

Oh, and unspoken forum rule #4,080, if you see a good deal on eBay, even if you're not gonna buy it, don't post about it until the auction is over. You don't want to screw over a buddy who;s watching it, right? :]

im glad to see my pics getting good use lol

the rc10 can be raced but it takes a skilful driver to compete with newer cars it dosent handel all that great (a alum chassis can do that to a car ) but overall the rc10 is a great car better than most being made today bolth the orignal 6 gear and the stealth trans were designed to be tough and last a long time (unlike newer cars where they want u buying as many parts as possible )
and so far i have yet to see any car as tough

if u want info just go to the old skool thread for pics tuning tips and parts info
