JConcepts just came out with the illuzion body for the mbx5t. Looks BAD!!! I'll be getting mine soon after I beat this one up a little more at the track. How are you liking you MBX5T's everybody? I love mine, handles verry well. Had some clutch problems, but it was my fault, I had the idle set farely high for break-in and the shoes must of been dragging cuz it melted them into the bell. Got a new clutch/bell set-up and seems to be working well. Next race I'll be running the MTR holeshots and will update how they work on hard packed tracks.

Later

I tried to mount my engine last night and to my horror I discovered that my force .26 will not fit the prospec motor mount!!!! does anyone have any sugestions? Ive seen where a few people have milled the mount but I definately do not want to do that. Is the Prospec mount for the Ninja engine only? or is it just my engine case? help!!!!!

i have no problems mounting up my motors onto the stock motor mount. i dont use pullstarts on my engines, only bump start. that may be your problem.

I've got the pull start plate off of the Force .26 and Its not that it wont fit down in the mount the bolt pattern is to wide on the mount Oh well that gives me an excuse to get a NR P5X or a V-spec

Ok I have an extreamly stupid question. How does one adjust "rebound stop" sorry for such a basic question but this is the only adjustment that I dont know how to make.

I'm pretty sure the main advantage to the mbx5t vs. the msr conversion is the longer arms with the 5t. They probably did a few other things.

the Dadder's STS 21 will do fine.... but dont be a fool like most people and expect to idle 5 tanks then take it on the track... The STS mills need at minimum 1 gallon before they should see a track, a STS 28 wont even open up till almost 2 gallons.....Anyways the STS 28 once properly broken in will rip the stuffing out of a Ninja .21 as far as power, RPM and tourque is concerned......too many people expect way too much from these motors even though they dont take the time to properly break in the motor...

So if ya got an STS dont expect any performance till at least 1.5 gallons, if you try to race before this time the motor will make no power and tune very poorly
