With the new Mugen truggy arrival less than a month away it's time to start an Official thread concerning the MBX5T.

In speaking with Mugen today the samples are about 2 week away with the production models due at the end of the month!

Prices look good also from what I have seen so far...

Maybe, the MBX5 Prospec that comes with an engine is an OS V-spec though.

Awesome!

Isn't the Ninja a .21 though?

How much will the Prospec kit be? Is it the 599.99 one? If so...

Bye 8ight..

Okay, from what I understand there are 3 MBX5T's in the US. 2 of them are at the Nats at the Farm, one is in SoCal in the hands of Stephen Bess, the Editor of RC Car magazine. Saw Stephen run his truck last weekend with the Ninja engine he had previously received and broken in. Zero setup, just winged it. The thing hauled butt. I own a Jammin' and love it, but I think you Mugen boyz are going to be very, very happy. BTW, race ready, full of fuel etc., the truck weighs over a pound less than the Jammin.

Awesome. I love the looks of that engine..

Man... I think this will, infact, be my next RC truck. What's the price of the prospec kit? Any.. estimates? :P I'ma guess around $680
