Hi,
I was just wondering what a good flight simulator would be for the Dragonfly 22E. Are there any free ones to use? I am thinking of buying one on ebay and the seller said that he could include the simulator cable if I wanted. I figure it would be best to learn on the computer before the real world.
Thank you.

I used RealFlight G2 and FMS just to get use to controlling a helicopter. I also have a 22e and made a cable to work with FMS. Here is a link: parallel cable

So FMS is the free one. How well does this work? Is it close to real flying? How much did all the parts cost, and where did you get them for the cable? I might be able to get the parts from the same place you did. Can you use the supplied cable with FMS or is that why you had to build one? The ebay seller said he could supply the cable.
Thank you.

FMS is decent. It's not as good as the RealFlight ones. But it's good enough to get you use to controlling a heli. I had to build my own cable. You can get most of these parts at Radio Shack. But I think it's cheaper if you find a local electronics store. Less than $10 to build one.

Did you also get a cable with your helicopter? Then did you have to make one specially for FMS?
Thanks

My 22e didn't come with any cables. The cable that I made works with FMS, RealFlight G2 and basically any game you want. It shows up as a game controller when you use it with PPJOY.
