The new updated rims are available, they added alot more ribbing to stop the flexing.

The motors are alot cheaper...to hopup and service plus you'll get gallons/years out of these little motors.

I cant afford a sidwinder or other rail too, but this is pretty fun and you dont get all beat up driving it

The new rims are shipping with the latest batch of Bajas. I'm not sure if HPI has them in stock yet. You can see pictures on the BajaForum.

Those FG rims look great. Do they bolt straight on or are mods required. Does anybody make paddles to suit this size tire?

My Baja has custom made rear adapaters from my garage.

The off-the-shelf CNR adpaters let the rims stick too far out, and it looks rediculous. Maybe the FGMonster Truck rims would look better?

WOW That looks stupid now with those adapters on there. what if you took some material off the CNR adapaters? and redrilled the holes?too bring the wheels back in. Can we use the 23mm proline hex adapters?I think I read somehwere they are making those fit as well??? does anyone here have pics here with the same view with plain ole FG/ FH wheels installed???? I would like too see that next iff possible????
